What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxClemsonU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxClemsonU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
What is TEDxClemsonU?
TEDxClemsonU was founded in 2012. TEDxClemsonU is dedicated to bringing ideas worth spreading to Clemson students, family, and the community. The organization strives to bring ideas that generate high impact and transformation. Each year, the event brings together students, faculty, alumni, and community leaders to share powerful stories, research, and perspectives that challenge conventional thinking and spark new possibilities.
